Crowned with emerald fir-tree forests and endowed with thermal spas and a lacy coastline, the region of Fthiotida lays in the heart of Central Greece. Known from mythology as the cradle of the Greek nation, the region is rich in history and archaeological legacy.

Fthiotida is ideal for vacations year-round. In spring, the thermal spas, some of them open-air natural pools, provide an opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation, along with the region’s verdant mountains and quaint hamlets.

In the summer, the azure waters of the Maliakos Gulf offer unforgettable hours in the sun, while the traditional fish taverns lining the coastline serve fresh fist accompanied with innumerable dishes of local delicacies and excellent home-made wine.

In autumn, for mountain climbing and hiking, the gorges and forests with their rich flora and fauna await you, and... don't forget the thermal spas.

Finally, in the winter, ski aficionados have the opportunity to enjoy their favourite sport at a fully equipped ski-resort on the beguiling Mt. Parnassos.
